As of January 1, 2013, imagine found a new home with de la vista publisher, founded by the editor Dr. Petra Kern in 2007. The imagine editorial team continues providing this online resource to you and is grateful for the ongoing endorsement by AMTA.
In 2013, imagine also joint the imagine.unlimited collaboration. imagine.unlimited brings together well-established institutes, publications, and initiatives to promote the use of evidence-based practice in music therapy and to educate the general public on the effectiveness of music therapy interventions enhancing the lives of young children and their families in medical, school, and home environments. This collaboration strives to address current trends and lead the field into the future. Learn more about this collaboration at www.imagine-unlimited.net
On September 1, 2010, we released the inaugural issue of the early childhood online magazine, imagine. During the three-year pilot project with AMTA, around 200 contributions (31 of which were from other countries), 42 audio and 38 video clips were published.
In previous years, an annual newsletter, first developed by Marcia Humpal M.Ed., MT-BC in 1996 was offered as part of AMTA’s Early Childhood Network. Dr. Petra Kern accepted the editorship in 2006. All issues are available for download.
